ASEED in partnership with Global Edu Pals, a German based foundation – carried out Community Health programs to enhance the health conditions of vulnerable people in the rural communities of the North West Region.

A free medical screening and provision of basic medications to treat common infections to needy and poor populations in rural areas of, Konene, Sawi palace and Belo with no adequate access to health care services was done.

A weighing scale for babies was also donated to the Saff health centre by ASEED. The teams also carried out health education on hygiene and sanitation with a huge population of albinos, who are equally disadvantaged in Cameroon and the population was also educate on how to purify water using the Solar Water Disinfection methods since most of these communities lack portable water and are suffering from water borne diseases.
